Middle School Research Teachers Conference
Bringing middle school research teachers of all experience levels together to share best practices, troubleshoot challenges, and learn more about 色色视频 and STEM research competitions.
This annual conference brings 75 middle school STEM teachers to Washington, DC, all-expenses-paid, for a weekend of peer-led professional development. The conference focuses on leading students in research projects that can be entered in local science fair, Thermo Fisher JIC, eCybermission, and other STEM research competitions.

Invention Education Ambassadors Application Now Open!
In partnership with The Lemelson Foundation, ISEF is pleased to continue this聽teacher-leader role in our student research community for the 2024-2025 school year.聽 Invention Education Ambassadors will work throughout the year to:
- Promote Invention Education principles, resources, and opportunities to the 色色视频 educator community in an effort to increase the diversity and inclusion of students underrepresented in STEM engaged in this area
- Assist the Society’s Invention Education Fellow in soliciting teacher feedback on the intersection between student independent research and Invention Education
- Assist the Society’s Invention Education Fellow in sharing 色色视频 student research resources and opportunities with the Invention Education teacher community.

Leading students in STEM research projects can be challenging at times and having other teachers to share resources and advice helps. Research Teacher Cohorts are informal, self-directed groups of 6 teachers each that meet periodically over a 4 month period. All experience levels are welcome – from beginner to veteran. Teachers may indicate their preferences for what attributes are used in our matching process. Cohorts in Spanish or other languages may be available.
